• Purchase details: your email address, order number, the title bought, amount, and payment status. Stripe processes your payment card; we do not receive your full card number. If tax collection is turned on, Stripe may collect your billing address.

• Reading activity: which pages were requested and when, for access control and abuse detection.

Why we use it

To deliver what you bought, let you sign back in, enforce the device and session limits, prevent sharing and fraud, answer support requests, handle refunds, and meet legal and tax obligations. We put a masked version of your email and your order number as a watermark on pages you read.
